The state government has implemented a new student scholarship chief farmer vidhanidhi scheme to encourage higher and higher education of children of farmers.
Direct Cash Transfer (Direct Benefit Transfer-DBT) system for all children’s bank accounts of farmers in Karnataka, for access to postgraduate courses in educational institutions / universities officially registered in the State of Karnataka from Rs. Approved by the Government to provide and pay the amount of scholarship money in the form of annual scholarships.
